Process and Details

We are looking for content that is relevant to the community and that provide valuable insights. We welcome speakers of all levels of experience, from first-time presenters to seasoned experts.

Cloud Native Day Bergen is a diverse and inclusive event, and we encourage submissions from speakers of all backgrounds and identities. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

We are especially interested in content that covers the following topics:

Kubernetes & Orchestration

Deep-dive into the technical building blocks of modern infrastructure—everything from cluster setup, operators, controllers, CRDs, networking, and runtime behavior in Kubernetes.

Platform Engineering & Developer Experience

Exploring how platform teams build internal platforms, manage golden paths, and scale DevEx in cloud-native environments—focusing on tooling, team structures, product thinking, and enabling autonomy.

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

Insights into building and running cloud-native systems—topics include infrastructure as code, serverless, cost optimization, and managing cloud environments across providers.

Observability & Reliability

Techniques and tools for achieving high availability and understanding system behavior—includes logging, tracing, metrics, incident response, and SLO-driven operations.

Security & Governance

Best practices and tools for securing cloud-native environments—supply chain security, runtime protection, Zero Trust, policy-as-code, and compliance automation.

Architecture & Software Patterns

Designing resilient, scalable, and maintainable systems—discussions on microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and modern software patterns.

The deadline for submissions is 1 August 2025, but we are reviewing proposals on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to submit early to increase your chances of being selected. We will review all remaining proposals and notify selected speakers by 14 August 2025.
